We created kokora to offer bespoke wood furnishings and luxury lifestyle products that bring harmony, balance, and beauty into each space.  

Nostir’s career began at a very young age in England as an apprentice to his grandfather, also a fine furniture maker who lived and studied design and joinery in Japan. Nostir’s modern furniture designs and home installations have taken him around the globe multiple times and until recently called Los Angeles his home. 

Nicole, who has a diverse background in interior design, ceramics, and marketing met Nostir in Los Angeles and together, have since traded in the big city living for an off-grid mountain adventure. You can now find them on the mountain ridge building their dream home, expanding the kokora business and enjoying living closer to nature.
