Answering ‘The Call’

Did you ever have something speak to you so deep in your soul that you felt like you had no other option then to follow it 1000% because any other life would never soothe that calling? 

We left LA after living there for over 20 years for a life off-grid on a mountain ridge surrounded by nature. We always dreamed of this move but it felt so far away and then one day we looked at each other as said, if we don’t do this now, what are we doing?

And that created a series of events that led us to our property on a mountain ridge in northern California starting a new business venture for Kokora and learning how to Homestead. It took us 4 months to buy property, pack up our life and make the move. 

To commemorate this new adventure we bought a 1979 Avion Luxury Traveler to gut and renovate with the Kokora brand. Nostir wanted to go back to his earlier days of design when he would renovate airstreams for photography sets and we felt that a luxury adventure vehicle would capture the essence of Kokora, whose meaning is here and there; without sacrificing luxury or standards while on the road. 

We are in the midst of learning how to live on the land without sacrificing our comforts and everyday luxury and we welcome you to join us as we share our journey.
